DIG Mirza Shakil is laid to rest

Lahore: DIG National Highways and Motorway Police N-5 Central Mirza Shakil Ahmad who had passed away today in the morning, His funeral has been offered tonight at G block ground wapda town.

Thousands of people attended his funeral and prayed for the departed  soul.Eminent personalities from all walks of life attended the funeral and condoled with the deceased family including IG Motorways Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema,Former IG Punjab Haji Habib ur Rehman,Former IG Balochistan Malik Muhammad Iqbal,CCPO Lahore Ch Shafique Ahmad Gujjar,Former CCPO Pervaiz Rathor,Aslam Khan Tareen,SSP Hussain Imtiaz Habib Gill,DIG Operations Rana Abdul Jabbar,DIG Farooq Mazhar Khan,SSP Tariq Abbas Qureshi,Safdar Butt,Waqar Hussain,ex-minister Ch Abdul Ghafoor,Saleem Butt,Irfan Mughal,SP Sadr Awais Malik,Khalil Ahmad and others.

The people present there paid gratitude to the departed soul and said he was one of the most respectable police officer of 19th common.

He was not only a very good police officer but also a great Human being and a time tested friend too. At the occasion,no one could stop tears on Mirza Shakil’s son Hassan-Shakil-Mirza innocent talks and unreplyable questions.

His Qull will be offered tomorrow at 2pm at his residence 69 H-2 wapda town Lahore.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Shakeel Mirza, DIG Motorways.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
