GCU VC Dr Khaleeq-ur-Rahman appointed to IST Senate

Lahore: President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has appointed Prof (Meritorious) Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, an eminent physicist and the Vice Chancellor of Government College University, Lahore, to the senate of Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad (IST).

Engr. Imran Rahman, the Vice Chancellor IST, in a welcome letter, expressed extreme gratitude on the appointment of Prof Khaleeq-ur-Rahman on the governing board of his university, saying that it would help them in developing their nascent pedagogic and achieve the mission of fostering intellectual and economic vitality through teaching, research and outreach in the field of Space Sciences & Technology with a view to improve quality of life.
