Profile of Secretary Punjab Assembly Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar

Lahore: Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar was born on September 10, 1960. After graduating from F.C. College, Lahore, he obtained the degree of Master of Public Administration from University of the Punjab, Lahore in 1983.

He joined Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Secretariat in August 1987 and to his credit he has an emphatic experience of 26 years of service in this august institution. He has been serving on a number of important positions in the Assembly Secretariat including Assistant Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary and was promoted to the post of Special Secretary (BS-20) in February 2011. He has served as Acting Senior Secretary from 26-07-2013 to 31-10-2013. Now he has been promoted as Senior Secretary.

He has traveled to Trinidad & Tobago, United States of America and United Kingdom. He has attended several workshops and seminars. He has also successfully completed different courses conducted by Management and Professional Development Department. He has been attending the meetings of Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services and also delivered lectures on Parliamentary Affairs.
