Hina submits adjournment motion against Fake ‘Peers’

Lahore: PML-N MPA Hina Parvez Butt has submitted an adjournment motion in Punjab Assembly against fake ‘peers’.

She said that sorcerers looting innocent citizens with impunity and no one was taking action against them.

MPA said that they were continuously looting, exploiting the innocent people but no legislation to curb their malicious practices and even no action was being taken until a heinous crime, rape and murder was committed. Black-magic was turning into a profitable business even these soothsayers inviting the people by attractive advertisement.

She added that daily newspapers carried stories about fake soothsayers almost every other day. More than often, these criminals offer their services to women seeking to put spells on men or to have children, and to people suffering from various diseases. Hina Butt of PML-N demanded stern action against fake ‘peers’.
