Deputy speaker Punjab Assembly Shair Ali Gorchani is a land mafia: PTI Punjab president Ijaz Ch

Lahore: PTI President Punjab Ijaz ch on a press conference said that PML-MN govt’s corruption has now been exposed where they have not only started converting agriculture land into plazas and factories but also deforesting acres of land through the land mafia and claiming them as their own property.

Ijaz ch said that the deputy speaker Shair Ali Gorchani in his constituency in DG Khan had for the last many years been cutting of trees and taking over 1000 of acres of land people of D.G.Khan has been continuously complaining to the Punjab govt. but no take to them but they approached PTI to raise their issue in the media and the assembly.

He said that he had challenged Rana Sanaullah to come and prove him wrong in a talk show where Rana Sanaullah could not defend himself against Ejaz Ch claim of corruption. He said that it was typical of their victimization that today Rana Sanaullah through his lawyers had sent him a notice saying that Ejaz Ch had disrespected the deputy speaker and should represented in the assembly to apologize.

Ijaz Ch said that he was not go to the assembly as he had a very solid case and would rather go to court to expose this corruption of the deputy speaker. He said that these threats are typical of PML-N govt. who was continuously trying to cover their corruption though fake FIR’s and legal notices. He said that the deputy speaker had been carrying out this operation for years and the opposition parties at that time were in a mukmuka with PML-N. He said that PTI being a true opposition party will raise voice against each a injustices.

PTI Sec Information Punjab Andleeb Abbas said that the D.G.Khan environment had been totally misbalanced by the removal of trees and was facing severe climatic change in rainfall and pollution. She said that the attempt to convert this land in to building their own schemes and then selling them at high cost was an open act of corruption over land that belonged to the public property as it was purchased by the tax paid money.

She demanded that the environmental assessment department of Punjab immediately look out the destruction done in D.G.Khan and present the report in the assembly of this disaster. She said that this govt. went upon converting this whole country into a property dealing enterprise destroying agri-land, forestation and many other places of natural environmental life. She demanded that Rana Sanaullah and the Chief Minister D.G.Khan people over there and ensures that no more deforestation takes place and public property to be returned to the department of forestation.

Ishtiaq Malik, Naveed Ahmed, Adnan Jamil, Irfan Ahmed, Farhan Chishtie, Shehryar Raza and other office bearers were also present at the press conference.
