Rana Mashud distributes cash prizes among deserving girl students

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Education, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that it is the mission of PML-N to bring the standard of government schools at par with the private schools. He said if the students getting education in government schools work hard and pay full attention to education, the doors of progress would open for them all over the world.

He was addressing the annual ceremony of City District Government Girls High School Rehmanpura, here today. The Minister said that the era of prosperity will soon usher as Pakistan has the sincere leadership. He said the nations can only achieve prosperity through education and the girl students getting higher education are our future. He said that among these poor girl students, someone will become Arfa Kareem and Fatimah Jinnah. Rana Mashhood said that Punjab government has allocated 33% quota in government jobs for intelligent and capable women.

On this occasion, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan distributed cash prizes among 91 deserving girl students on behalf of Chairman Zakat  & Ushr Committee Sh. Khalid Mahmood and scholarship cheques among 52 intelligent girls on behalf of Punjab government. Later, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan attended annual ceremony of Decent Model School Gulshan Ravi, Lahore as chief guest, which is his constituency. Coordinator PP-149 Aamir Shah, former Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Salahuddin Pappi and former Political Secretary Mian Muhammad Tariq were also present on the occasion.
