RANA ARSHAD AND CHINESE DELEGATION VISIT PUNJAB JIANGSU CULTURE CENTRE

Lahore: Parliamentary Secretary for Information & Culture Punjab Rana Muhammad Arshad has said that Pak-China friendship is based on mutual respect. He said that China has always supported Pakistan and given a practical proof of good neighbouring and friendly country at every hour of trial.

Rana Muhammad Arshad said that Prime Minister Pakistan and Chief Minister Punjab highly value the assistance being provided by China for development works. He said that the promise of investment of 35 billion dollars by China in various sectors in Pakistan reflects mutual confidence between both the countries and this confidence will further strengthen with the passage of time. He said this while talking to a 3-member delegation led by Director Pakistan Research Centre of Normal University Jiangsu China Prof. Dr. Sun Hongqi during visit of Punjab Jiangsu Cultural Centre here today. Director Jiangsu Centre Safoori Bukhari and Director Punjab Institute of Language, Art & Culture Dr. Sughra Sadaf and other officers were also present on the occasion.

Head of Chinese delegation Prof. Dr. Sun Hongqi expressing his views during the visit of Punjab Jiangsu Culture said that establishment of such institutions for the promotion of their national language in Punjab is commendable step. He thanked the Punjab government for providing facilities and extending cooperation on their visit to Lahore. He said that such friendly attitudes will help promote Pak-China friendship and bring closer to the people of both the countries.
