Turkish Military Band’s Thrilling Performance At Alhamrah Culture Complex

Lahore: Turkish Military Band Mehteran Ottoman offered special performance and impressed the audience with some Melodious Tunes at Al-Hamra Cultural Complex here on Saturday. Major Murat Igli was the commander of the band while Deniz Ergdn performed as music conductor for the guest band.

This band was invited especially from Turkey to make the Pakistan people aware of key Turkish music traditions. The Traditional Turkish band played various Military Tunes besides presenting a Pakistan National Song ‘Jeevay jeevay Pakistan’ with quite expertise. The 70-member band was clad in impressive and colourful dresses. A large number of families and male, female students of several Educational Institutions attended the ceremony.

Earlier, Provincial Minister for Sports Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and Director General, Sports Board Punjab, Mr. Usman Anwar addressed the gathering  and highlighted the significance of friendship between Pakistan and Turkey. Mr. Minister Rana Mashhood said that the

several more records in the coming days. The performance of Turkish band in a PYF ceremony was no less than a gift for Pakistani people,” he said.

Mr. Minister, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and DG. SBP, Mr. Usman Anwar presented souvenir to Brig. Toda from the guest band, who in return, also presented a souvenir of  Turkish Army to Provincial Minister.
