Rana Mashud apologized to Mohtarma Rahila Anwar

Provincial Minister for Education, Tourism, Sports, Youth Affairs and Archaeology Punjab, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has said that he has been custodian of the sanctity of the house as Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly for the last five years and cannot even think of making any indecent remark about any member especially woman member of assembly. He said that no such allegation has been leveled against him or any other member of his family during his entire political career. He said the assembly record is also witness to the fact that he has never made any comment having a double meaning.

Talking to media, Rana Mashhood Ahmad said it was shocking to him that a section of the press had twisted and attributed a remark to him which had a double meaning. He said that he has already apologized to Mohtarma Rahila Anwar on the floor of house if her feelings were hurt despite the fact that he had no intention nor he had said anything un-parliamentary or having double meaning. He said that he had also cleared his position before the entire assembly.
