Lahore: Rawalpindi Blind Cricket team stunned Lahore by 10 wickets to clinch Punjab Youth Festival Inter-Divisional Blind Cricket Tournament title here at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Cricket ground on Sunday.
Rawalpindi invited Lahore for batting after winning the toss. Lahore gathered 142 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 15 overs. Salman remained the major scorer for Lahore who played a good knock of 54 runs.
The Blind Cricketers from Rawalpindi offered some stunning performances in the Title clash and chased the target without losing any wicket. Arsalan and Shahid played superb knocks of 72 and 58 runs respectively and guided their team to impressive victory. Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) Chairman Sultan Shah was the Chief Guest at the occasion and distributed prizes among the prominent Cricketers of the Final.
