Professionals Panel sweeps the EMRA elections 2014

Lahore: Professionals Panel swept the Electronic Media Reporters Association (EMRA) Lahore elections 2014 beating Democrats Panel and an independent candidate Marwa Ch in the election held at EMRA Center, Punjab Stadium Lahore.

Only independent candidate Marwa Ch could resist a little bit against the Professionals Panel candidate Husham Yosaf but his office mate Malik Arshad who was also contesting for VP mend his way of success by getting a reasonable number of votes 35 that helped him a lot to defeat hes another opponent Marwa Ch.

Close contest was also seen on the secretary general seat where Professionals Panel candidate could secure his eat by 18 votes.

As many 254 members out of 275 cast their votes.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated newly elected President Asim Naseer and other office-bearers of Electronic Media Reporters Association (EMRA) on their success in elections and expressed the hope that they would play a positive and effective role for the solution of the problems of electronic media reporters.
