Young generation should seek inspiration from the life the leaders of Pakistan Movement: Rana Arshad

Lahore: Parliamentary Secretary for Information & Culture, Rana Muhammad Arshad has said that young generation should seek inspiration from the life and achievements of the leaders of Pakistan Movement. He said that present government is fully aware of the role of youth in the progress and development of the country. He said that the measures taken by Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for the youth have also been appreciated at international level.

He was presiding over a meeting of the committee set up by Chief Minister Punjab for observing birth and death anniversaries of leaders of Pakistan Movement in a befitting manner.

Members of the committee including Additional Secretary Information & Culture Rana Fazal Abbas, Director PILAC Dr. Sughra Sadaf, Executive Director Punjab Council of Arts Chaudhary Muhammad Asif, Director Iqbal Academy Hanif Shahid, Principal Government College Township Dr. Muhammad Ijaz Butt, Principal Cadet College Sialkot Sultan Sikandar Ghuman, Columnist Muhammad Saleem Butt, Vice President PML-N Lahore Shahzad Sharif, Assistant Prof. Masood Ahmed and Miss Hareema Tariq also attended the meeting.

Rana Muhammad Arshad said that living nations never forget their glorious history and national heroes. He said that government is taking all out measures for apprising the young generation of the struggle and sacrifices of the forefathers of the nation during independence movement. He said that the purpose of the committee is to apprise the youth of the contributions of the leaders of Pakistan Movement.

Parliamentary Secretary said that the young generation is fully aware of its responsibilities and there is a need to provide proper guidance to the youth. Rana Arshad directed the members of the committee to bring forward solid and comprehensive proposals for the training and guidance of the youth so that the programme could be made successful.
