Lahore: Annual Sports Day of Post Graduate Medical Institute & Ameer-ud-Din Medical College and Lahore General Hospital will be held on March 8 at Defence Housing Society Phase-V, Block-K Sports Stadium which will be participated by doctors, medical students, nurses and nurse students enthusiastically.
This was informed by Principal PGMI and LGH Prof. Dr. Anjum Habib Vohra while presiding over a meeting, here today. He said that the sports day would be a colourful event wherein various games like Chati race, three leg race, back race, musical chairs, band march and gol gappay eating competitions would be held. He said that people associated with health and medical are very important segments of our society who work under great stress and pressure while treating the ailing humanity. They also need fun and entertainment to keep fresh and normal. Such positive activities would definitely improve their performance and temperament to serve, he added.
Dr. Anjum Habib Vohra said that families of doctors and nurses would also participate in the sports. He further told that he is trying his best to set positive and purposeful precedents at PGMI & LGH and it is expected that this annual activity would become a permanent annual feature during coming years.
