Lahore: : A high level delegation of the Jamaat e islami, Pakistan, led by JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, left here for Iran on a ten day visit.
The delegation would visit Tehran, Mashhad and Qum, and meet the Iranian leaders besides addressing the gatherings of the Pakistani residing there.
The other members of the delegation are Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Asadullah Bhutto, Abdul Mateen Akhundzada, Mian Maqsood Ahmed, Waqas Anjum Jaafery and Hafiz Sajid Anwar,
In the absence of Liaqat Baloch, Nizamud Din Memon would officiate as JI Secretary General.
