APNEC held a meeting at Herald Union Office Karachi

Lahore: APNEC held a meeting at Herald Union Office Karachi where several issues relating to journalists and media persons were highlighted and discussed. The participants also appreciated the merger of PFU and APNEC in Quetta under the chair of President PFUJ Afzal Butt. 

The Chairman APNEC  Sahfiuddin Ashraf presided over the meeting. The Secretary General APNEC Ikram Bukhari specially reached Karachi to attend the meeting. While appreciating the merger of PFU and APNEC, Chairman APNEC said that the joint efforts to resolve the problems of journalists and media persons will motivate the journalists to put their efforts in their specific fields. 

While talking to participants, Secretary General APNEC Ikram Bokhari appreciated the initiative taken by Afzal Butt. He further said that the joint efforts will definitely bring a change in the work of journalists and other media persons.

Moreover, NEC member Fawad Mehmood said that people associated with field of journalism are facing severe health, financial and protection problems. Such efforts will keep the morale of journalists up, he added.
