Farhat Mashhood inaugurates annual exhibition ofproject of M.Sc held at Govt. College of Home Economics, Gulberg

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan inaugurated annual exhibition of annual project of M.Sc held at Govt. College of Home Economics, Gulberg, Lahore. Farhat Mashhood, wife of the Minister was also present on the occasion.

The projects based textile designing, dying, screen, digital and block printing, batik, interior decoration, water and oil painting, tie and dye, calligraphy, sketching, renovation, restoration of furniture and market trends have been displayed in the exhibition. The research papers on the training and needs of the children, their diet and importance of healthy food have also displayed in the exhibition. A large number of students presented their Art Work In Designing, Colouring, Sewing, Screen Printing, Digital Printing, Block Printing, Artistry, Interior Decoration, Bed Sheet, Calligraphy, Oil Painting, Graphic Printing, Renovation And Furniture Designing in the exhibition. Besides the above-mentioned work, research papers on Market Trends, Growth And Needs of Children And Importance Of Food were also presented in the exhibition.

The Minister appreciated the efforts of the students and announced that Punjab government will set up its display center in the college to further encourage the students of the Home Economic College in art and craft. He said that the students of Home Economic College are participating voluntarily in coordinating the contests of cooking and dress designing in Punjab Youth Festival. He said that a display center would be set up at Home Economic College for the students which will prove to be a source of marketing of their annual projects. Principal Dr. Samia Kalsoom, Vice Principal Dr. Ambareen Saghir, Coordinator of the exhibition Mrs. Shaheen Pervaiz and students of the college have lauded this announcement.

Syeda Faqia, Anum Khan, Komal Hafeez and Rabia Ashraf stole the show through their impressive Art Work in an Exhibition of Designing And Paintings held in connection with the Punjab Youth Festival (PYF) at the Govt Home Economics College, Gulberg on Friday.
