AIR CHIEF APPRECIATES THE PERFORMANCE OF PAKISTANI SKIER

It is the matter of pride and joy for the nation as Pakistani Skier Muhammad Karim secured 70^thposition in Giant Slalom competitions held today at Winter Olympics-2014, Sochi. Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force who is also pattern-in-chief of Ski Federation of Pakistan appreciated his efforts in hoisting the Pakistani flag high by successful participation.

This is the second consecutive Winter Olympics that Ski Federation of Pakistan has been successful in launching the skiers to participate. The planning and preparation to participate in Winter Olympics Sochi-2014 were initiated and conceived by the then President Ski Federation of Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt.
