Punjab Government announce to celebrate Basant

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Sports, Education and Youth Affairs Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan said in his press conference that Pakistan will make progress through this Youth Festival. World will see good and respectable image of not only Punjab but also of Pakistan. I am announcing to start Youth Festival from 23^rd Dec.

Youth Festival will start in Village Union Council level from 23^rd Dec then it will be held on Tehsil and District level and it will be held on Pakistan level in April. Millions of players have been registered in Youth Festival so far. I am feeling proud while announcing youth festival. International Teams will participate in this festival.

10 teams are coming from India. Professional boxing league and football league are also a part of this festival. Pakistan is on 162th number in professional boxing league. Well-known wrestlers will also contribute in Youth Festival. Through this platform new talent will emerge and successful players will get a chance to participate in Olympic Games. Motor cycle hunt on 80 canals is being established in Herbens Puraa for youngsters. Competitions of kabaddi, tug of war will be held in Youth Festival.

On last youth festival 70 crores were spent and this time same amount will be spent on this festival. If any province like Baluchistan, KPK and Sindh wants our assistance then we are ready to help them, he further added. He said PTI has no experience in government. Basant will also be celebrated in Change Mangha. Anyone found violating the laws set for kite flying will be imprisoned for 10 years.

Due to efforts of Chief Minister Shahbaz Shreef, Mian Hamza Shahbaz and DG Sports Board Punjab Usman Anwar sports competitions are being detained in Punjab. 26 world records were made in last youth festival and 35 lac youngsters participated in last youth festival. This festival is a movement.

MPA Waseem Qadir, Parliament Sectary Health Khuwaja Imran Nazir, Coordinator of Hamza Shahbaz Ali Raza Shah, MPA Raheela Khadim Hussain, MPA Wasem Qadir, MPA Mian Naseer  Ahmed , MPA Ramzan Siddiq Bhatti, MPA Raheela Khadim Hussain , MPA Saif Ul Malook Khokhar , DCO Lahore,  DCO Kasur,  DCO Nenkana Sahib were also present in the event. Directorate General Sports Usman Anwar was also present there.
