Lahore: Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that service to humanity is the pivot of PML-N politics. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N will honor every promise made to the people and is implementing an agenda of providing relief to them. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his team are working round the clock with sincerity and honesty. Admission of reduction in corruption in PML-N government by Transparency International is a proof to the fact that it is moving towards right direction, he added.
He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony of handing over an ambulance equipped with latest facilities on behalf of Punjab government to Gulab Devi Hospital and talking to media, here today. After handing over the keys of ambulance to Medical Superintendent Gulab Devi Hospital Dr. Hamid Hassan, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif inspected different wards and inquired after the patients under treatment there. He also asked from the patients about the facilities being provided to them in the hospital. Chairperson Managing Committee of the hospital Begum Manzoor Elahi was also present on the occasion.
Talking to media, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that Khadim-e-Aala with the help of administration and public representatives is making sincere efforts for controlling the prices of edible items. He said that market committees have also been activated in this regard. He said that there will be visible reduction in the prices of daily use items through a coordinated and comprehensive planning for next three months.
Replying to a question, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N government due to its strategy and efforts sectarian violence has been controlled in Rawalpindi. He said that the sectarianism is a destruction which will have to be rooted out at all costs. He said that the nation will have to unite for the elimination of terrorism and sectarianism. He said that PML-N leadership will provide full relief to the people in its five years’ tenure in order to achieve a thumping success in the next general elections.
Later, addressing the function at Gulab Devi Hospital, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that efforts will be made to reduce the deficit of the hospital by increasing the annual grant being provided by Punjab government to it. MS Dr. Hamid Hassan and Chairperson Managing Committee for the hospital Begum Manzoor Elahi also spoke on the occasion.
