Pakistani girls will say “kodi kodi” first time in world cup

Lahore: Director General Sports Board Punjab Usman Anwar warmly sent the National Kabbadi teams men and women going to participate in World Cup Kabbadi Tournament starting in India from 2^nd Dec through Wahgah Border.

On this occasion Director General Sports Board Punjab Usman Anwar while talking to media said that Punjab Government has made an effective program for the promotion of sports two years ago whose fruits have started to come. Best players are selected in the National Kabbadi Team.

Team is selected on merit. Excellent training is given to players in training camps. InshAllah team will win the tournament. First time Pakistani women team is participating in World Cup Kabbadi Tournament. On this occasion the enthusiasm of players including Captain Madiha Lateef was worth watching. The players expressed that women can take part in different sports including cricket so they can play Kabbadi as well.

They ensured that inshAllah women kabbadi team will win the tournament and it will be a pride for the country. On this occasion men’s kabbadi team also expressed the enthusiasm that they will gift the world cup to the nation.

Director General Sports Board Punjab Usman Anwar was warmly welcomed on Wahgah Border. He was garlanded with flowers. He sent the National Kabbadi teams through Wahgah Border. World cup Kabbadi Tournament will be played from 2^nd Dec to 14^th Dec in India.
