PTI USA demonstration against drone attacks in Pakistan

American civil society and Pakistanis living in the United State are deeply concerned with the continuous use of drones as a war tool for indiscriminate killing of militants and civilians alike. The London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism estimates up to 830 civilians, including many women and children, might have been killed by drone attacks in Pakistan, 138 in Yemen and 57 in Somalia. Hundreds more have been injured, many permanently.

President Barack Obama’s controversial drone program is far too indiscriminate in hitting targets which have led to political instability and fear in local population. The arbitrary drone use is creating more enemies than we are removing from the battlefield creating a tremendous amount of popular anger.
