PML-Q leadership is capable of solving the problems:Raja Basharat

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Punjab General Secretary Ch Zaheeruddin Khan and Senior Vice-President Muhammad Basharat Raja have said that the PML leadership fully understands and capable of solving the problems, why the Chief Minister who was inciting the people to protest is silent today over closure of industries in Punjab, Lahore-Sialkot Motorway and Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital like peoples welfare projects were stopped only so that the people do not see the plaques of Ch Parvez Elahi’s name, how the afraid rulers besieged in their houses can protect the masses at large?

They said this while addressing party’s organizing meeting in Sialkot today. They were accompanied by Additional General Secretary Punjab Nasir Mahmud Gill and Secretary Information Seemal Kamran among others.

During the meeting, Ch Maqsood Sulehria was named as the PML District Sialkot President and Zafar Iqbal as the Lawyers Wing District Sialkot President on behalf of Pakistan Muslim League Punjab President and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi.

The meeting was also addressed by Ch Maqsood Sulehria and Salim Baryaar who pledged to organize the party in district Sialkot and transform it once again in effective political force of the people.

Continuing Ch Zaheeruddin Khan said that leadership of PML and Ch Parvez Elahi is imperative for again putting the stopped wheel of progress and prosperity in Punjab in motion, during his previous tenure the same Chief Minister had been forcibly inciting the businessmen and industrialists to protest against closure of gas and rising prices of petroleum products under his leadership, today industries are being closed down due to energy crisis and what to talk about protest he is not ready to give a statement in favour of the industrialists.

Muhammad Basharat Raja said that Ch Parvez Elahi gave identity to those changing parties for personal benefits in their own constituencies; if they had their own identity then they would not have made announcements about their changing of loyalties in others houses. He said that Muslim League had not lost but it was managed to be defeated, in the history of Pakistan for the first time election results of urban constituencies were withheld for three days, Ch Parvez Elahi had kept the prices of eatable items under control, criminal elements considered themselves not safe in Punjab, today all have been turned upside down, the ruling party will have to account for its six years performance in the local bodies elections, Chaudhry Brothers always remain in touch with the people irrespective whether they are in power or out of power and their doors are open for the party workers whereas MNAs and MPAs of N-League cannot even dare to be in the vicinity of their houses what to think about meeting with their leadership.

Earlier on arrival in Sialkot, PML leaders were accorded very warm reception. On this occasion party leaders former Federal Minister Ali Asjad Malhi, former MPA Bao Rizwan, Ansar Baryaar, Zulfiqar Ghumman, Ziaullah Rakha, Sadaf Butt, Mian Akram, Rana Noor Ahmad, Mirza Mazhar Mushtaq, Ch Jamshed Mahmud Khan, Younus Masih, Salim Masih and Dr Nasim along with large number of workers, former Nazims, Naib Nazims and Councillors were present.

Party workers chanted sogans in favour of Ch Shujat Hussain, Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi and greatly appreciated their services for construction and development of Sialkot. The organizing meeting was participated by Zulfiqar Paan, Ch Faraz Awan, Shaikh Umar Hayat, Engineer Shehzad Elahi, Sajjad Baloch, James Naaz, Ajmal Zia Cheema, Ishtiaq Gohar, Mian Muhammad Farooq, Shahid Iqbal Shaikh, Mian Imran and Naeem Ahmad among others.
