A delegation of SCBA call on Chaudhary Brothers

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML ) President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Kamran Murtaza advocate have said that no society can make progress in the absence of justice and every one in Pakistan should get quick and cheap justice without any discrimination.

Lawyers delegation headed by SCBA President Kamran Murtaza and Secretary Asif Mehmood Cheema and including Executive Committee members Aleem Baig Chughtai, Bashir Ahmad Qureshi and Naveed Sohail Malik called on the PML leaders at their residence here today. On this occasion, Saalik Hussain was also present.

Lawyers elected leaders while expressing gratitude for support in the SCBA elections said that Ch Parvez Elahi during his tenure as the Chief Minister Punjab had not only taken revolutionary measures for ensuring provision of quick and cheap justice to the common man but also gave priority to the welfare and well-being of the lawyers including launching of the Prosecutor Service, free treatment facility for the lawyers and establishment of housing colonies for the lawyers community adding that the lawyers regard all these measures quite laudable and appreciable even now.

They said that Ch Parvez Elahi always took deep interest in the solution of the problems of the lawyers and fully cooperated with the lawyers community because of which not only their supported candidates but also PML’s active leader Asif Mehmood Cheema had emerged victorious in the SCBA election with big majority.

Facilitating Kamran Murtaza and other office-bearers, Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi said that their success was also a source of honour and happiness for them also. They said that the lawyers community have always played important role in every national problem of Pakistan. They assured full cooperation to the lawyers’ leaders on their own and PML’s behalf and expressed the hope that the new leadership will render appreciable services for provision of cheap and quick justice to the people and welfare of the lawyers’ community besides solidarity, stability and unity of Pakistan.
