Lahore: A 3-member delegation of Peace and Development Foundation led by its Executive Director Rumana Bashier called on Provincial Minister for Local Government and Law, Rana Sanaullah Khan at his residence, here today.
Talking to the members of the delegation, Rana Sanaullah Khan said that rights of minorities are protected at all costs. He said that Minority Assembly Members in the Provincial Assembly should bring the agenda of welfare of the minorities community. He said that minorities can apprise the government of their problems through their representatives.
Law Minister said that positive change up to gross root level in the society is essential for resolving the problems being faced by the minorities. He said that minorities have to struggle hard for coming into mainstream. Rana Sanaullah said that the problems being faced by the country can be resolved by forging unity in our ranks.
Rumana Bashir presented few recommendations, proposals and memorandum to the Provincial Minister for the betterment of the minority community. Rana Sanaullah welcoming the proposals termed it a milestone for minorities community.
