Lahore: A delegation of Pakistan Ulema council has visited Mansoora and called on Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch. The delegation remained there for more than an hour and discussed current political situation of the country.
Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Tahir Ashrafi praised the efforts of the Milli Yakjehti Council for the unity of the Ummah and specially to bring religious leadership on one page.
At the occasion,Liaqat Baloch said Pakistan was passing through a very crucial stage and it was the need of the time that Nation to be united to put the country on the way of progress back.He said it was the duty of all the political and religious parties to cool the fire of sectarianism that could burn all what we had.
Dr.Fareed Ahmad Paracha,Nazeer Ahmad Janjowa,Molana Zahid Mehmood Qasmi, Molana Azam Farooq,Molana abdul Qayyum Farooqi,Molana Mushtaq Ahmad Khan,Molana Muhammad Aslam,Molana Islam ud Din and Muhammad NAeem were also present there.
