Rawalpindi killing was to spread unrest in the country: Imran Khan

Lahore: PTI Chairman Imran khan, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, PTI President Punjab Ejaz Ch, Bakhtiar Qasoori and Naeem Mir met representatives of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen under supervision of  Raja Nasir Abbas to discuss the situation of sectarian killing in the country and decided to jointly promote unity and peace and harmony between all religious segments. They said that these recent killings of Rawalpindi was a result of a planned conspiracy which to spread unrest in the country and there were both local and foreign hands involved in it.

Chairman Imran Khan said that it was a complete failure on the part of the country to deal with such elements and it shows the lack of governance in handling any law and order situation in anywhere in the country. They demanded an immediate inquiry into this planned unrest and appealed to all Ullema and segments of the society to jointly defeat any such conspiracies by vested interest involved in the situation.

Earlier Ejaz Ch PTI President Punjab visited the affected areas victims in Rawalpindi and promised the families of the affectees that PTI would do whatever it can to pressurize the govt. to get hold of the culprits. Central Spokesman Religious Affairs Mufti Saeed, Sadaqat Abbasi, MPA’s Ejaz Ahmed Ejazi, Rashid Hafeez and Muhammad Asif were also present.

Earlier Andleeb Abbas Sec Information PTI Punjab severely criticized the govt. for withdrawing the subsidy on the electricity rate on the tube wells in the Punjab and said that this will make the life of the farmers extremely difficult. She said that this was withdrawal was done announcement and a very non transparent manner which indicated the govt’s desire to use this money for their own personal purposes.

She said that the farmers were already crushed under the high inflation rates and were being exploited by govt. anti poor policies. She demanded that govt. restore the subsidy to the tube well electricity rates and explain to the public why and where this money is being used.
