Lahore: Members Assembly Yaseen Sohal and Lubna Faisal while issuing show cause notice to Gourmet Bakery, Shezan Bakery and National Bank Girga Chowk on poor cleanliness arrangements and violation of anti-dengue regulation during non-stop anti-dengue campaign continuing in Cantt. and Walton have said that no leniency would be shown in the matter of human lives.
All the public representatives and departments will remain active and vigilant till the complete eradication of dengue, they added. Ch. Yasin Sohal said that due to effective measures and awareness campaign against dengue on daily basis, the ratio of dengue is low in Cantt and Walton as compared to other towns.
Chairman Dengue Emergency Response Committee Yasin Sohal and MPA Lubna Faisal accompanied by a workforce of 500 persons comprising nurses and lady health workers of Lahore Cantonment, Walton Cantonment Boards, Health Department, TMA Cantt and Children Hospital today conducted spray and fogging and distributed pamphlets by visiting Saint Merry Church, Cathedral High School Girga Ghar, Saddar, Military Dairy Farm, Askari Phase I-III, Nishat Colony and other areas. Besides 250 students and teachers of Government Khawaja Rafiq Shaheed College Walton, 50 teachers of different schools of the Cantt also took part in the campaign.
Muhammad Yasin Sohal and Lubna Faisal also addressed a seminar on the topic of elimination of dengue and precautionary measures at Government Girls High School Walton and highlighted the role of students in elimination of dengue and cleanliness condition.
