Schools to ensure anti-dengue spray during holidays:Additional Secretary Schools

Lahore: Additional Secretary Schools Ahmed Ali Kamboh has directed all government and private schools in the limits of Samanabad Town to ensure anti-dengue spray and fogging during holidays and submit report on Monday. In the second phase of anti-dengue campaign, nine union councils of the town have completed dengue surveillance, spray and fogging process up till now.

He was presiding over a meeting of Dengue Response Committee in Samanabad Town, here today. TMO Malik Imtiaz Awan and officers of other concerned departments were also present on the occasion.

The meeting was informed that town administration checked 32 junkyards, eight auto workshops and 13 tyre shops today and on non-implementation of precautionary measures against dengue, cases have been registered under dengue regulation against eight persons and were handed over to police.

TMO informed that four graveyards were also checked and on poor cleanliness arrangements, two grave diggers have been arrested after registration of cases against them.
