Lahore: Members National and Provincial Assembly from various districts called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here today and apprised him of development projects and problems of the people of their respective areas.
Talking to the assembly members, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that government is taking steps on emergent basis for overcoming energy crisis. He said that service to the masses is his mission and all resources are being utilized for this purpose.
The Chief Minister said that all possible steps have been taken for maintenance of law and order during Muharram-ul-Harram. He stressed upon elected representatives to play an effective role for maintaining an atmosphere of religious harmony and brotherhood during Muharram-ul-Harram.
Those who met the Chief Minister included Sajid Mehdi Naseem, Raja Javed Akhlas, Makhdoom Syed Ali Hassan Gillani, Rashida Yaqoob, Ch. Asad Ullah and Ch. Arshad Jutt.
