Pervaiz Malik MNA visits WAPDA hospital

Lahore: Senior leader of PML-N, Pervez Malik MNA visited WAPDA hospital, Ferozepur Road and inquired after the dengue patients today. Secretary Irrigation, Capt. Retd. Zahid Saeed accompanied him.

Pervez Malik inspected special dengue wards. In-charge Hospital Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad told that a total number of 27 dengue patients  have been admitted in the hospital, of which, 21 have been discharged after complete recovery, whereas six patients are under-treatment.

Pervez Malik directed In-charge hospital that as per orders of Chief Minister Punjab, free treatment will be provided to dengue patients and no treatment expense should be received from any patient.

He said that if any patient wanted to get treatment on private basis, he is permitted to do so. He said that although WAPDA hospital is meant for WAPDA employees only yet if any dengue patient who is not WAPDA employee should also be admitted and free treatment be provided to him.

Pervez Malik inquired after under-treatment patients individually and expressed his satisfaction over the medicines and treatment facilities being provided to them.
