Lahore: Special Secretary Health Punjab Babar Hayat Tarar has said that dengue situation is improving due to the coordinated efforts of government departments and the people. He said that dengue index is falling speedily and the situation will further improve within next few days.
He was talking to media-men, after the visit of government Said Mitha Hospital Lahore today. Special Secretary Health inquired about the health of patients admitted in dengue ward of the hospital. MS Dr. Haq Nawaz Bharwana told that at present there is no confirmed dengue patient in the hospital, however, 10 suspected dengue patients are under treatment which included three women.
Babar Hayat Tarar also asked about the treatment facilities being provided to the patients. All patients expressing their satisfaction over the arrangements told that all medicines are being provided to them from the hospital.
