SBP is promoting sports in the province:Usman Anwar

Lahore: Sports Board Punjab is ultimately  following and implementing the vision of Chief Minister Sports Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s to promote sports in the province,says DG Sports Punjab Usman Anwar on his visit to the World cup  Kabaddi training  camp today while talking to media. He further told media that, “We are going to organize the biggest ever youth festival this time in which more than 40 countries will be the participants whereas the previous youth festival had 26 countries included in itself .

” ” We are not only inviting the international teams to visit Pakistan but will also encourage our local players to get the international level vision by participating in this great event”,he further stated.”We have proved the talent of our country by breaking and making World records in the last Guinness World Record event and this time we shall make it double”.

Director General Sports Usman Anwar continued, ” We have provided the best facilities to the Kabaddi players here  for their Kabaddi match going to be held in India”. The head coach Ghulam Abbas is giving training to 30 male and 25 female participants whereas the final team will be selected in the end of the November.

Sixteen teams from all over the world will participate in the Worldcup Kabaddi tournament  while 8 best teams among them will be qualified for the final round.
