Lahore: Provincial Minister social welfare Ata Manika is ready to left the Punjab Government and his party PML-N.According to the sources the minister had shown his annoyance over his powerless ministry and the cold shoulder from the leadership of the party.
Though the Chief Minister Punjab had taken the notice of his complaints but Manika’s friends were still busy in making his space in the third biggest political power in the country,the PTI.
Ata Manika has many friends and contacts in the PTI and he was being assured to accommodate in a good position in the party if he resigned from his Punjab Assembly seat,the sources revealed.
Mr Manika was the man who made forward block of the PML_ Q in the Punjab Assembly and supported the ruling party led by Mian Shahbaz Sharif in his last tenure.He contested May 2013 election on the ticket of PML-N and was made minister in the Punjab Cabinet but he was unhappy with the CM and the bureaucracy of the province who was not pampering him like the past.
Recently he has several meetings with the PTI’s leadership including Sharif’s worst political opponent , the former governor Punjab Mian Azhar and looked like he would soon join the tsunami.
