Turkey have won the hearts of Pakistan: CM Punjab

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that he will never forget the love and affection received during his recent visit to Turkey. He said that the leadership of Turk ruling party and people of Turkey have won the hearts of Pakistani delegation by extending a warm and enthusiastic welcome.

He said that the visit to Turkey will indeed play an important role in strengthening relations between the two countries while the cooperation in various sectors would also increase. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N has played a key role in further strengthening the ties between Pakistan and Turkey and identifying new avenues of cooperation between the two countries.

He said that several Turk companies are playing an important role in the development and prosperity of Punjab. He said that the traditional friendly relations between Pakistan and Turkey are gradually changing into fruitful economic ties.

Earlier, the Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif accompanied by Turk Prime Minister Rajab Tayyip Erdogan gave away keys of houses to earthquake affectees of Van.

The Chief Minister expressed these views while talking to a representative delegation of various Turk companies before his departure from Turkey to London. He said that Pak-Turk friendship has emerged as a shining example in the world and it is difficult to express this relationship of sincerity and harmony in words.

He said that a large number of people are availing international standard travelling facilities through metro bus and turkey has extended cooperation in completion of this splendid project. He said that Turk companies have introduced people of Pakistan to new standards in various sectors. He said that the modern system of cleanliness in the provincial metropolis introduced with the cooperation of Turkey is proving very successful and its scope is being extended to other five big cities of Punjab.

He said that this process of bilateral cooperation is moving ahead. He said that the interest shown by Turk leadership in cooperation in various sectors in Pakistan is welcomed. He said that Punjab government is providing a pleasant atmosphere to Turk companies as well as other foreign investors in Punjab and they are being provided facilities on priority basis.

Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the resolve shown by Turk Prime Minister that Turkey will continue to extend cooperation to Pakistan especially Punjab in energy, anti-terrorism, vocational education and other sectors and it is a matter of honor for them that they are helping their brotherly Islamic country of Pakistan.
