Nawaz Sharif could not talk to US president on Drone Attacks:PTI

Lahore: PTI President Punjab Ejaz Ch, Gen. Secretary Dr. Yasmin Rashid & Sec. Information Andleeb Abbas said that PM Nawaz Sharif at his meeting with US President failed to secure any positive response on the issues of drone attacks and Dr. Afia siddiqui’s release.

Ejaz Ch said that PM Nawaz Sharif has failed to categorically tell US President Barack Obama to stop drone strikes, being illegal and seen as possible war considered as crime. He said that according to Amnesty International these drone attacks are war crimes. This report truly reflects PTI’s point of view on Drone Attacks in Pakistan.

Gen. Sec Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that American Newspaper Washington Post has revealed reality about Drone attacks in Pakistan mentioning that drones attacks being done with the permission of govt. of Pakistan. She said that PTI from the beginning protested against these illegal drone attacks.

Sec. Information Andleeb Abbas said that neither the previous govt. nor the present one is prepared to act resolutely to stop this unlawful act against the sovereignty of Pakistan.

PTI leadership demands that Govt. of Pakistan should take urgent steps to stop these illegal drone attacks and clear to the international world that people of Pakistan are not terrorists.
