Lahore: Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) and Pak-Turk Business Association (PTBA) would facilitate Pakistani firms regarding free visas and traveling arrangements to participate in business event, “World Trade Bridge 2013” to be held in Istanbul Turkey next month.
This was decided in a meeting between PBIT team and 3-member delegation of PTBA, headed by Director PR,Mehmet Kirtas. Director Projects, Dr. Suhail Saleem represented PBIT while delegate of the local companies related to food, agriculture and manufacture of machinery also attended the meeting. It was informed by the PTBA that the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON) would facilitate the Pakistani companies and delegates recommended by PBIT. This event will be organized from 22nd to 28th November 2013.
Representatives of PTBA discussed the upcoming events in Turkey focusing on food, agriculture and manufacture of machinery. During the meeting a documentary of previous events was shown by PTBA highlighting the importance of the events. The delegation informed the participants that proper business to business meetings have also been planned during upcoming event like previous years. They informed that this event is a good opportunity for the visitors from Pakistan where they can not only introduce their company and products to the Turkish counterparts for export purpose, but also can plan to import certain items, along with technology transfer from Turkey.
Director Projects PBIT, Dr. Suhail Saleem told the participants that PBIT is always available to facilitate all the local and foreign investors and will keep on organizing such fruitful meetings and facilitate the delegations for the promotion of investment and trade in Pakistan. During meeting 25 representatives of different companies introduced their products. The other members of the PTBA delegation were Taner Kocyigit, Secretary General and Aslam Bhatti, Deputy General Secretary.
