Lahore: JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch has said that Jamaat e Islami will soon bring out a fact sheet on the performance of the federal and the provincial governments during their first hundred days. The JI fact sheet won’t be an attempt at political point scoring but would highlight the fall in the worsening economic and social conditions of the masses besides deteriorating law and order.
Liaqat Baloch said that the new governments was a complete failure so far and there was increasing despair in the general public. He said that the menace of corruption was on the increase and novel ways of loot of the public money had been devised while the system of accountability had completely paralyzed. It seemed the government was least interested in checking corruption.
He condemned the criminal assault on a minor girl in the city and said that the culprits be handed down a deterrent punishment. He however said that the society was facing fast moral decline and the free mixing of sexes and immoral programs on the media were the main cause. He urged the government to realized the gravity of the problem and adopt solid measures to check the evil before it was too late.
The JI Secretary General warned the rulers of India’s evil designs against this country and said BJP’s nomination of Narendra Modi for the office of the Prime Minister was an alarm bell for this country.
