Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has set up a 5-Members committee headed by Provincial Minister for Housing, Works and Communications Malik Tanvir Aslam Awan for rehabilitation, allotment of alternate homes and compensation of losses to the flood affected persons of Muzaffargarh.
The committee has been directed to submit its recommendations within 15 days to make up for the losses on merit.
The committee comprises Provincial Minister for Auqaf & Religious Affairs, MPA Punjab Hammad Nawaz Tipu, Commissioner DG Khan and DCO Muzaffargarh. Malik Tanvir Aslam Awan along with other committee members would visit the affected areas on Friday and Saturday and after meeting with the flood affectees, the committee would submit its recommendations to Punjab Chief Minister.
