Workers to get ready to stop rigging in by-elections:Imran Khan

Lahore: Pakistan Tehrek -i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Monday night said that Punjab Government despite clear majority in the Assembly was going to hold non political base district government election,he was addressing a large public gathering in favor of his party candidate Malik Waqar from pp 142 here at Lakshmi Choke. PTI Punjab president Ijaz Chaudhary,Sec general Yasmeen Rashid and others also spoke at the occasion.

Imran Khan said government machinery was being used in favor of PML-N candidate but election commission was not taking notice of it,so party workers will have to come out of their homes on 22 August to cast vote and to foil attempts to use unfair means of the opponent.He said the parties that had remained in power so many times ,could not bring change in the country.

He dismissed the proposed local government bill and said it was the copy of general Zia’s script of the local government,PTI would challenge this bill in the court.

Earlier Imran Khan was warmly welcomed at the jalsa,PTI workers showered petals on him and  shouted slogans for him.
