Shahbaz Sharif calls on ameer e Qatar

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited Doha as a Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and felicitated His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar on assuming leadership of Qatar on behalf of the Prime Minister, on his own behalf and the people of Pakistan. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif extended heartiest congratulations to Emir of Qatar. He said the people of Pakistan sincerely wish him success in efforts he is making to bring Qatar on the world map.

Chief Minister Punjab also praised His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, father of the Emir for his visionary leadership that has made Qatar a progressive and important country in the comity of nations.

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar expressed his gratitude to Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and to Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for extending congratulations and expressed his confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan will make progress and will surmount the challenges which Pakistan is facing today.

The Emir of Qatar also underlined that under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Qatar is very keen to make investment in Pakistan and keeping in view the close brotherly relations of two countries, Qatar will explore opportunities in different sectors of Pakistan’s economy.

The Emir of Qatar also underlined that Pakistan is an important Muslim country in the world and role of Pakistan in many issues is important for regional peace and stability.
