HLahore: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that the nation will have to unite to root out terrorism. He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will announce a solid strategy against terrorism in the All Parties Conference to be held on July 12. He said that the possibility of foreign hand in the Anarkali bomb blast cannot be ruled out.
He was talking to media while inquiring after the persons injured in bomb blast in Anarkali Food Street in Mayo Hospital today. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the forces which do not want peace and prosperity in Pakistan are involved in terrorism and the Pakistani nation will have to unite to counter this challenge. He said that it is the collective responsibility of parliament, political parties and politicians to evolve a joint policy against terrorism. He said that time has come for all patriotic elements to join hands so that country could be rid of bomb blasts and lawlessness.
Earlier, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif inquired after the injured persons in the surgical ward of Mayo Hospital. Member Provincial Assembly Majid Zahoor, Imran Ali Goraya MS Mayo Hospital, Commissioner and DCO Lahore were also present on the occasion. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif also gave cheques of financial assistance to the injured persons. A total of 42 persons were given financial assistance.
