Pakstan seeks Chines help to resolve energy crisis

Lahore: A high-level government delegation constituted for energy led by Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has reached China. The delegation included Dr. Tariq Fatmi, Shahid Riaz Gondal, Nargis Sethi and Ahad Cheema. Immediately after arrival, the delegation met with Chinese officials and investors regarding energy. Chief Minister’s Coordinator Shahid Riaz Gondal is representing Punjab.

Before the departure from Lahore, Shahid Riaz Gondal while talking to journalists said that this visit is part of those steps which PML-N government is taking for eliminating energy crisis. He said that had PPP government not committed loot and plunder in energy sector, the people would not have been faced such worst loadshedding. Shahid Riaz Gondal said that despite difficult situation, PML-N government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is making efforts on war footing for overcoming energy crisis. He said that besides China, the delegation is also in contact with Germany.
