Traffic rules obeying as necessary as other national laws:SP Azhar Gujjar

Lahore:  The S.P Headquarters Traffic Police, Lahore, Muhamamd Azhar Gujjar has remarked that abiding by the traffic rules and regulations is as much necessary as obeying the other national laws.

The sacred mission of the traffic police is to save the precious lives of the citizens of Pakistan by raising the level of awareness of the traffic rules among them. He praised the students for sacrificing their comfort for the sake of receiving ideological education and training.

He expressed these ideas in his address to the boy- and girl-students on the 12^th day of the Ideological Summer School jointly organized by the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and Tehreek-i-Pakistan Workers Trust at the Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan, 100-Shahrah-i-Quaid-i-Azam, Lahore.

The School is scheduled to run for a month. The programme commenced, as usual, with the recitation of the Holy Quran, a na’at and the national anthem. The officers of the Education Wing of the traffic police, Lahore, provided the students with information and awareness about the traffic rules with the help of multi-media aids.

Later, a session of questions and answers was held with students asking some really thought-provoking queries. A group of students helped the S.P. Gujjar distribute, along the Mall, pamphlets containing information on traffic rules and on how to abide by them. Prizes were given away to the students of the Ideological Summer School at the end.
