Federal budget truly reflects the manifesto of PML N:Dr Masood Akhtar Sheikh

Addressing the emergent meeting of general cadre doctors association Punjab, the GCDA president Dr masood Akhtar sheikh said that the enhancement of medical allowance of grade 1 to 15 and then fixation of the medical allowance as 15 % of the basic pay of grade 16 to 22 employs, enhancement of the conveyance allowance and the pay raise of 10 % for the in-service and 20 5 for the retires officers will enhance the manpower associated with the health sector. Dr Masood added that by enhancing the budget of health and giving more money for the preventive and curative program will help enhance the health status of the country.

Dr Masood sheikh said that the Punjab government budget is due in few days, and we expect a more doctors and patients friendly budget this time.  He said that the increase in the salary should be proportional to price hikes, and he said that in coming budget the money should be allocated for the establishment of housing colonies along with the hospital and other institutions.

Dr rana Rafique said that the PML N has given importance to the health and education during its election campaign. The current budget is the reflection of its announcement. Dr Asad abbas shah, dr Amir Nazeer, Dr Arif iftikhar, Dr Aslam Hameed, Dr haq Nawaz bharwana also spoke on the occasion
