115 newly elected MPA will have three days training

Lahore: As many as 115 newly elected Members Provincial Assembly were invited on the first day of a three-day training workshop arranged by Management and Professional Development Department, Government of the Punjab. Secretary MPDD Mrs. Rashida Malik inaugurated the workshop and Secretary Law Dr. Abul Hassan Najmi informed the MPAs about the principles of legislation and importance of the constitution. He told that the system of supremacy of constitution exists in the country and the MPAs should also follow the constitution.

A team of Finance Department headed by Special Secretary Finance Dr. Arshad Mehmood gave information to the MPAs regarding preparation of budget and its best utilization. They were also told parliamentary rules and regulations so that they could play their constitutional role efficiently and execute the public welfare projects. Newly elected MPAs termed the workshop a good step and expressed their commitment to fully utilize the public mandate for the development of the province.
