Talks with Taliban would end US terrorism :Munawar Hasan

Lahore:  Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar  Hasan, has said that the only way to stop the US terrorism was to hold talks with the Taliban.

The US wants instability in this country by sabotaging the talks with the Taliban and to continue the killing of the innocent Pakistanis for realizing its unholy designs, and if Mian Nawaz Sharif succeeds in brining the Taliban on the negotiation table, it would be defeat for Washington, he said in his address the Friday congregation at Mansoora mosque.

Earlier, the JI Ameer also addressed the certificate ceremony of the Markaz e Uloom e Islami at Mansoora. The ceremony was also addressed by Maulana Abdul Malik , Dr Muhammad Aslam Siddiqui, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees and others. The JI Ameer gave away certificates to those completing the Mufti course and the Darse Nizami at the Jamia e Mansoora.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that the liberation of Bait ul Maqdis was the issue of the entire Muslim world and not the Palestinians alone. The Palestinians have been fighting the war of  the Qibla e Awwal for the last half century. Israel had not honoured any commitment with the Palestinians, yet the world community had not questioned Tel Aviv for that. On the other hand, Washington and the western world were patronizing the Zionist state instead of condemning its unlawful occupation of the Qibla e Awwal.

Syed Munawar Hasan further said it was not the Muslims who began the world wars. It was the non Muslim powers who threw the humanity into these wars and they wanted to block the way of Islam and the Muslims at every cost. Millions of Muslims were killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and millions others were rendered homeless. However, the world conscience was not aroused and no body raised voice against these atrocities. On the other hand, the west and its allies always blamed the Islamic movements for chaos and lawlessness in the world.

Continuing, the JI Ameer said that the elections had not brought any change and the things were moving as routine. However, he said, the people expected a lot from the new rulers and the budget should not disappoint them.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, during his second term in office, had committed a blunder by filing an appeal against the Shariah Court  verdict calling for an end to the interest based economic system. This amounted a war against Allah and the Prophet as stated in the Holy Quran. Therefore, Mian Nawaz Sharif  should now consider whether this step was the cause of his downfall and prolonged misery for the last thirteen years. He should now seek forgiveness from Allah on this and make amends by announcing an end to the interest based system. Expressing his good wishes for the new Premier and his team, the JI Ameer hoped that they could come up to the expectations of the people.

He said the masses had been facing numerous problems including load shedding price spiral, unemployment, lawlessness, and desired quick relief.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that as the PML(N) had majority in the centre, the Punjab and also in Balochistan, it should solve the national issues and also guide the provinces of Sindh and the Khyber P and cooperate with them for solving the problems of terrorism and target killings.
