SED honours Pakistan Blind Cricket Team

Secretary Secial EducationLahore:  Special Education Department Punjab has arranged a function in honor of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team who won the second position in T-20 World Cup 2012 in India.

Besides Chairman Sultan Shah, players and officials of Blind Cricket Team, Secretary Special Education Department Dr. Sajid Yousafani, Director Special Education Punjab Muhammad Fazil Cheema and other officers of the department attended the function.

Sajid Yousafani gave cheques for rupees one lakh each to 17 players and four officials. He appreciated the performance of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team and termed the special children as an asset of the country. He said that the cheque of one lakh rupees is an acknowledgement of the hard work and victory of the special players by the Punjab government. He expressed the hope that the special players will enhance the image of the country all over the world like before and play a role of beacon of light for others.
