No compensation can allay the grief of the bereaved parents:Pervaiz Elahi

Photo CPE 01 {May26-13}Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that no compensation can allay the grief and sorrow of the bereaved parents and relatives of the unfortunate children who expired in Gujrat incident but words of sympathy can help in reducing gravity of their sorrow and our party fully shares their grief and sorrow and we have been deeply grieved over this tragic incident and come to share their moments of grief at the earliest possible brushing aside all other engagements.

Ch Parvez Elahi said this while expressing condolences with the bereaved families of the unfortunate victims lady teacher and children in the fire in the school wagon at different places in Mangowal district Gujrat today He also offered sympathies with the families of the injured children and prayed for their full recovery.

Parents and relatives of the affected highly lauded timely services and assistance provided by Rescue 1122 and said they are deeply grateful to Ch Parvez Elahi who had started a service like 1122 as a great service for the people of Punjab. They said that 1122 ambulances had reached venue of incident even before they got the information about the tragic incident and their timely assistance saved precious lives of six children.

People of these areas gathered on the occasion expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Ch Parvez Elahi for coming to share the sorrow and grief of the bereaved families and said that this is the greatness of his family that they regard their sorrow as their own and reach them at the earliest in every difficult moment and problem.

Talking to them, Ch Parvez Elahi said “You are our brothers and we cannot forget you in any circumstances whatsoever.”

In response to political nature questions put by the media on the occasion, Ch Parvez Elahi said this is not an occasion for politicking and as such no political questions should be asked.
