CM announces financial assistance for the heirs of van incident

Lahore:  Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, Najam Sethi has announced financial assistance for the heirs of innocent children and a teacher who died in tragic van incident at Gujrat. He said that financial assistance of five lakh rupees each will be given to the heirs of children and the teacher while one lakh rupees will be given to each injured student.

The Chief Minister also ordered inquiry of the tragic incident and Commissioner Gujranwala division will submit inquiry report within seven days. Najam Sethi said that in the light of inquiry report, the responsibility of the incident would be determined and action taken against the persons as per law who displayed negligence.
