Lahore: The Executive Committee of the Sports Journalists Association of Lahore met here at the National Hockey Stadium to discuss its progress in the last six months and formulate the future course.
The meeting was president over by its President Syed Ali Hashimi (Samaa) while Secretary Ashraf Chaudhary (Nawa-i-Waqt) presented the association’s progress report.
The SJAL president also named a number of organization committees of the association. Senior journalists Sohail Ali (APP) was made the head of the disciplinary committee while Farrukh Butt (Jahan Pakistan), Sheikh Ejaz (Waqt TV) and Taqweem Shah (daly Waqt) are its members. Amir Raza (City 42) will head the events management committee with Shahzad Malik (ARY News) and Musa Bilal (Aab Takk) being its members while the finance committee will be headed by Aftab Tabi (News One) and Azfaal Chaudhary (Khabrain) and Abdul Qayyum (Assas) chairman will be its members.
